We are pleased to announce that despite the latest lockdown rules imposed by the government on the 4th January 2021, we are still allowed to operate and remain open for business, manufacturing and installing our windows, doors & conservatories whilst maintaining safe working practise. Our showroom is now also fully open to the public and we look forward to welcoming you in following social distancing guidelines. SAFE WORKING GUIDELINES

Firmfix takes the safety of its employees and customers very seriously. With that said the measures below have been put in place. Hands must be washed and or sanitised on entry and exit of the building. Please do not come into work if you are showing symptoms. Please do not allow our fitters to your property if you are showing symptoms

SAFE WORKING GUIDELINES
FOR SALES STAFF

  • Correct PPE must be used – gloves, masks and use hand Sanitiser
  • Keep a distance from the customer (2 metres minimum) if you cannot, PPE must be used
  • Evaluate the customers vulnerability
  • Is the customer showing symptoms?
  • Are any staff members showing symptoms?
  • Quote from outside where possible
  • Quote over the phone or by email where possible

SAFE WORKING GUIDELINES FOR PRODUCTION STAFF

  • Correct PPE must be used – gloves, masks and use hand sanitiser
  • Keep a distance from each other (2 metres minimum) if you cannot, PPE must be used
  • Are any staff members showing symptoms?
  • Keep a distance from delivery drivers and avoid contact. Get the drivers to sign paperwork on your behalf
  • Use your own tools, if you cannot, they must be disinfected before the next person uses them

SAFE WORKING GUIDELINES FOR OFFICE STAFF

  • Correct PPE must be used where necessary– gloves, masks and use hand sanitiser

  • Keep a distance from the customer and each other (2 metres minimum) if you cannot, PPE must be used

  • Keep offices and working stations hygienically clean

  • Use your own stationary, if you cannot, they must be disinfected

  • Disinfect the printer touch pads

  • Use your own computer equipment, if you cannot, they must be disinfected

SAFE WORKING GUIDELINES FOR INSTALLATION & BUILDING STAFF

  • Correct PPE must be used – gloves, masks and use hand sanitiser

  • Keep a distance from the customer and each other (2 metres minimum) if you cannot, PPE must be used

  • Evaluate the customers vulnerability

  • Is the customer showing symptoms?

  • Are any staff members showing symptoms?

  • Keep a distance from delivery drivers and avoid contact. Get the drivers to sign paperwork on your behalf

  • Use your own tools, if you cannot, they must be disinfected before the next person uses them

  • Do not accept food or beverages from the customer

  • If you are to use the customers toilet, wash and sanitise your hands before you enter and exit the property

  • Be mindful of high traffic areas in the property i.e. stair and hallways

WHAT SHOULD YOU, THE CUSTOMER DO WHILST YOUR INSTALLATION COMMENCES?

  • Please keep your distance from the installers/builders (minimum of 2 metres)
  • Please do not provide the installers/builders with food or beverages
  • If you can, disinfect the working and traffic areas where the installers will be working inside your property

  • Keep a distance from each other (2 metres minimum) including customers if you cannot, PPE must be used
  • Showroom visits to be arranged by appointment
  • Keep the showroom products disinfected
