Orangeries

Welcome to the world of Orangeries.

An orangery was originally a building frequently found in the grounds of fashionable houses during the 18th & 19th century, the name reflects the original use of the building as a place where citrus trees were grown to survive our harsh climate.  Today's Orangeries are a halfway house between a conservatory and extension, comprising of full height walls into which windows and doors can be specified, under a solid roof with a glazed lantern centre; firmfix orangery's are designed to create stylish extra living space.
